•WatchFolders help you and observe windows folders for file changes
•Content from a predefined filepath is automatically imported
•The defined folder is checked for changes on a given interval
•There are 3 types of WatchFolders: Import Content (only imports content), Update Playlist (Import Content and automatically generates a Playlist) and Update Sequence (Import Content and automatically generates a Sequence)
Create a WatchFolder
•Go to the Main Menu
•Open Create
•Select "WatchFolder"
•Choose a type
•Once a first WatchFolder is created, there is a "WatchFolder" Section in the Project Explorer
•Select a WatchFolder in the Project Explorer
•Do the settings into the Inspector
Import Content
•The "Import Content" WatchFolder automatically loads Content into your Project.
•All content files into a Windows directory will be loaded as content items into VERTEX
Settings
Auto Save
Saves the project when new content is imported
Delete Removed Content
Removes content from the project if the files are deleted in the WatchFolder
Directory
The local Windows filepath to the WatchFolder
Interval
Time in sec in which the WatchFolder is checked
File Change Scripts
Scripts which can be executed either when a new file is detected (File Changed Begin) or when process of adding files is completed (File Changed Script)
Update Playlist
•The WatchFolder "Update Playlist" automatically loads content into your project
•All this Content items are added automatically to an empty Playlist.

Select a clip to act as template for new imported contents

Parse Clip Template
Future-use, automatic template assignment by file name

Drag n Drop an empty playlist to which clips from the WatchFolder should be added
