•A VERTEX SUITE includes all features offering the highest flexibility.

•Cost effective editions complement one another. The extend to their functionality is tailored to the needs of our clients with multi-system setups.

•A license can be be either authorized on a PC system or on a dongle.

•Licenses can be activated and de-activated from within VERTEX, as well as managed online in the user account settings.

VERTEX Editions

To give our clients the highest flexibility in planning their projects, we offer various Vertex license editions:

Trial Version

Free and with full functionality that is interrupted by a watermark.

Can only connect to other trial versions, but not to licensed systems.

Designer

Offline programming environment.

Can connect to a DIRECTOR and SUITE for real-time collaboration on site.

Director

Core control system of any Vertex cluster.

Allows for programming and control of shows and timelines.

 

Show Control Option

Add-on to DIRECTOR edition. Required for third-party control, interactive logic and scheduling in Vertex.

Node

Video rendering only with very limited user interface. DIRECTOR or SUITE are required for programming.

It is however possible to load pre-programmed project files and run NODEs in standalone.

NODEs can be purchased with a scalable number of channels.

1 Channel renders up to 10.000.000 pixels with unlimited Outputs or Surfaces.

Solo

Programming and rendering on a single stand-alone system.

No connection to Nodes possible.

SUITE

Vertex SUITE offers the unlimited feature set of the AV Production Suite.

When a Vertex SUITE is master in session mode, any connected TRIAL and DESIGNER systems will upgrade to a DIRECTOR+ShowControl license for the duration of the session.  

 

 

 

License editions purchased before 2026 will still maintain their valid functionality, including:

Vertex EDIT

The  perfect tool for controlling and managing your Vertex installations. EDIT includes all features except fullscreen rendering. Streaming outputs are supported.

Vertex PLAY

A playout-only solution that can be licensed per output as a rendering engine in a larger session or as a standalone solution for high-quality, synchronized playback.

 

 

 

One single Installer for all VERTEX editions
Version handling made as easy as possible - one installer for all editions. The feature and output restrictions of those editions are embedded in your license key.
You have full flexibility to run any VERTEX edition from a single installation by changing the license key without the need to re-install.

 

Show Control Option

The Show Control Option expands DIRECTOR with additional network protocols, extended third-party device integrations, advanced automation (Node Systems, Triggers, Schedules), tracking capabilities, scripting tools, and web-client system management.

Update-Plan and Renewal

•from activation date, every license is automatically subscribed to an update plan for 1 year.

•the end of such a 1 year update subscriptions is called the expiry date of a license

•when the expiry date is reached, a license will still work for all software versions up until this point.

•however, all software updates after the expiry date will only run in TRIAL mode until the subscription to VERTEX's update plan is renewed.  

•a renewal to a licence's 1-year-update-plan subscription can be purchased at any time.
