We have seen occasions where nvidia mosaic mode refuses to continue unless the vertex service is stopped.

Once you stop the vertex service is stopped the internal discovery system is disabled and the system will not be show in Vertex as available system anymore. Simply reboot the system after nvidia mosaic has been configured and the vertex server will automatically restart.
